"Pink is coming in 2014" - says The Wall Street Journal and Pantone

December 10th 2013: The Wall Street Journal reports that the hot colour to watch in 2014 is a pinky purple called "radiant orchid" ... pantone colour 18-3224 TCX to be technically precise.
 
They say it's hitting fashion runways, living rooms, appliances and is the accent colour for both girls and guys. If we could imagine it from a Zoolander movie you could hear fashionista character Mugatu saying "Pink. So hot right now". The "it" colour and pantone's colour of the year.

"People who follow fashion want to be accesorising and wearing the colour of the moment. Truly pink is that colour" the article says - and cites that is is being used by powerhouses Prada, Chanel and Dior.
