This hybrid mix delivers plush, sink-in comfort with essential ergonomic support, maintaining the signature structure of Ambient Lounge®️ Gold Class furniture. The foam cushions beautifully, while the beads fill gaps and prevent sagging or compression over time. Delivered in waterproof bags with our exclusive zip-on funnel system, it’s easy to fill your product mess-free to your optimum comfort levels (you can adjust the firmness depending on your own filling preference). SoLuxe gives you lasting rebound, superior shape, and a luxurious feel every time you sit.
What is Ambient Lounge High-Density Bead Filling?
Our standard filling option is anything but ordinary. Ambient Lounge®️ High-Density Beads are ultra-fine, premium microbeads engineered for superior support, movement, and comfort. Designed to flow and contour to your body, they offer a flexible seating experience that gently cradles while maintaining structural integrity. These beads are quieter, more durable, and longer-lasting than standard beans—ensuring your furniture remains beautifully balanced and inviting for years. Delivered in a waterproof transport bag with our zip-on funnel system, refilling is quick, clean, and effortless. For everyday comfort with exceptional support, this is the gold standard in bead fill.
What is Cover Only? (I don’t need filling)
Choosing the "Cover Only" option means you’ll receive the beautifully crafted Ambient Lounge®️ cover without any filling inside. This is ideal if you already have suitable filling at home—from old bean bags or alternative materials like 100% foam—or if you'd simply prefer to source your own. It’s also a great choice for gifting on special occasions, allowing you to wrap and present the item easily. Unlike most Australian bean bag brands, we offer the option to add our premium filling later, purchased separately. Every cover includes our exclusive Funnelweb™️ zip system for quick, mess-free filling whenever you're ready.

Will my Calmera Lounge arrive pre-filled?
No — the Calmera Lounge does not arrive filled. Instead, you get to fill it yourself at home, which many customers find fun, easy, and surprisingly satisfying. Filling it yourself also lets you customize the comfort to your preference — some people love a firmer feel, while others prefer a softer, more relaxed lounge.
We also don’t deliver it pre-filled because this helps significantly reduce shipping costs. Your Ultra Bead Filling is dispatched from the partnered warehouse closest to your location, allowing us to deliver soft luxury furniture across Australia more efficiently and affordably.
Our patented Zip & Tip Easy-Fill System makes the process quick, clean, and mess-free — simply tip, zip, and enjoy your lounge exactly the way you like it.
How will my Calmera Lounge be delivered?
You can choose between two options: cover only or cover + Ultra Bead Filling.
If you choose cover + Ultra Bead Filling, your order will arrive in two separate packages — one with the cover and one with the bead filling.
Filling the lounge at home is easy with our patented Zip & Tip Easy-Fill System. The funnelweb-zip bag attaches directly to the cover, so you simply tip the beads across, zip it closed, and shape your lounge.
No loose beads, no mess, and no hassle — just a cleaner, safer setup that keeps your lounge perfectly shaped for long-term comfort.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We dispatch almost all Calmera Lounge orders on the next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–3 business days via Australia Post.
If you ordered the cover + Ultra Bead Filling, please note that your items will arrive in two separate deliveries. The cover ships from our main warehouse, while the bead filling is sent from the local depot nearest to you, so they won’t travel or arrive together.
You’ll receive full tracking details for each package as soon as they’re dispatched.
Is Calmera Lounge easy to set up?
Absolutely — it’s a quick, one-person job. The ambient lounge® Calmera is engineered for a stress-free setup:
- Choose either cover only or cover + ultra bead filling
- If you purchase the filling, it arrives separately from the cover
- Our patented Zip & Tip system makes filling fast and mess-free
- Simply attach, tip the beads across, zip up, shape, and relax
Most customers complete the setup in just 5 minutes.

Unlike regular beads that are mostly air and flatten quickly, ours are engineered to hold their shape with less noise and minimal sag, delivering a quieter, smoother, and longer-lasting lounging experience from day one.
Each pack comes in our reusable Funnelweb® Zip & Tip system, making filling fast, clean, and effortless — no mess, no fuss.
Is the Calmera Lounge safe for kids and pets?
Yes. The Calmera Lounge is designed as a low-seat, stable, soft-edge lounge, perfect for all families and kids of all ages

Can I replace or top up the filling later?
Yes. The Calmera Lounge uses our universal Ambient Lounge refill system.
You can easily:
- Add extra filling for firmer support
- Replace filling years later to refresh your lounge and make it look like new
This gives your Calmera Lounge a long lifespan and keeps it feeling beautifully supportive.
Is the Calmera Lounge suitable for small apartments or bedrooms?
Absolutely. The Calmera Lounge was designed with compact, modern living in mind.
Its silhouette fits neatly into corners, kids’ rooms, reading nooks, gaming setups and rental spaces — providing maximum comfort without the bulk of traditional furniture.
How do I clean and care for the Calmera Lounge?
The exterior fabric is spot-clean friendly for most stains or scuff marks. Use warm water and mild detergent or a wet-dry vac is the best. For deeper cleaning, the Calmera cover is fully washable – please fully decant the inner filling via the funnelweb system before washing. Line dry only. Fabrics are designed for high-traffic living and resist daily wear from kids, pets, and life.
Can I use the Calmera Lounge outdoors?
The Calmera Lounge is primarily designed for indoor use and is not waterproof or weather-resistant.
For outdoor relaxation, we recommend Ambient Lounge’s outdoor-rated collections featuring waterproof, UV-resistant Sunbrella® and solution-dyed fabrics.

We completely get it, we change our minds too! For returns, please note that there are return fees that must be settled by the customer.
Please also understand that a product may only be returned within the 14 days after purchase. Item/s must also be in good condition, not have any damages, stains or marks.
